| As a journalist, writer, commentator and public affairs analyst, Moshood Ademola Fayemiwo continues to comment on events in his native country, Nigeria . His love for Nigeria and Africa is palpably obvious. He brings uncanny passion and thick emotion to his writings without disguising his ideological persuasion.

KUDOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD ON MOSHOOD'S ARTICLES & BOOKS
Dear Moshood,
I like to join thousands of your admirers and well wishers across the globe in congratulating you on your third and latest book. The sky is your limit. I wish you all the best.
I will be placing an order for my own copy following your instructions on the Internet. I can well imagine what a thoughtful book it is likely to be because you probably know MKO in ways that very few people in Nigeria are likely to know him. He was a lightening rod for Democracy and Freedom in our country, and I am glad you are using the power of your mighty pen to immortalize his contributions and memory.
MKO was the very first Nigerian to shatter the myth that a Southerner can never defeat a Northerner in Nigeria , not to talk of his own home. MKO had not only won the 1993 Elections in Nigeria , he had even beaten Alhadji Tofa, arms down, even in Kano of all places. I am very proud of you, Moshood. Keep hope alive. May the good Lord be with you and your loved ones. Amen. Congratulations.
Yours truly,
Dr Wunmi Akintide

Hi, Moshood,
Good news. Our paper on news quality has been accepted for publication in the Convergence journal. It is expected to be out in December. Please write me at your earliest convenience a -60-word Bio of yourself to be included in there. Include your latest info like where you are going to pursue your Ph.D. degree, etc. Congratulations on graduating this summer. How is everything going? Since you won't go to present the paper, I will do it for all of us >since I have to go. Enjoy the summer.

Fayemiwo in the Fall 2003 Research Methods in Mass Communications class and Lillian Dunlap, who used to work for the Poynter Institute, has been accepted for presentation in the AEJMC Newspaper Division this summer. This will be the second time the Research Methods class presents a paper to AEJMC.

Congratulations,
Your paper submission to the AEJMC Newspaper Division “Uncovering the Quality of Converged Journalism: A Content Analysis of the Tampa Tribune News Stories” has been accepted for a poster session for the 2004 AEJMC Convention. Papers were selected based on quantitative measures filled out by the judges. Working with the number of available research sessions given to the Newspaper Division, 32 papers were selected from a pool of 75 for an acceptance rate of just under 43%. In the Newspaper Division, poster session research is not differentiated from panel session research in regard to quality of paper. In 2003, one of the Newspaper Divisions top 4 papers was a poster session paper. Poster sessions allow the division to showcase more papers than would otherwise be possible. Please inform co-authors, if you have them, of this acceptance. More information will follow in the near future.
Again, congratulations! I look forward to seeing your presentation in Toronto.
Sincerely,
Stephen Banning
Newspaper Division Research Co-Chair

Thank you for your great piece on the web - "Let the president dance". I sometime wallow in despair because the problems we have in Nigeria are in the extreme but the most shocking of all is that the same problems or a watered down version pervades Africa . The people back home do not and will not accept change and that's the source of my despair because I am now so sick and tired of living in the western world.

Dearest Mr. Fayemiwo,
I just read your article, it is well composed. It seemed you have moved up north from your address and left us at Tampa. I wish all the best and God's guidance. Please keep in touch.

Dear Moshood,
You are right. The kingmaker status of a clique in Nigeria has continued to deprive the millions of Nigerians their aspirations for a better homeland. We must all descend together on the present government while it lasts to dismantle the dual phenomenon of a skewed federal structure and undemocratic leadership. They are the main obstacles to Nigeria 's progress. Don't relent please! You may wish to read: NIGERIA : PHONEY FEDERALISM BLUES (nigeriaworld.com)
Have a nice time.

Dear Moshood,
The above is referenced.
I could not hold back from letting you know that the title of your memo on probity in our country 's leadership is worthy of a read. It is a great piece my brother and the title specifically is very apt and drips of a great literary device.
Cheers
